Proposta bioclimática: complexo comercial e reestruturação urbanística do complexo beira rio e igarapé das mulheres

Abstract

Within the amazonian context, It’s necessary to understand the hot humid climate, and then develop suitable proposals for the region, since high temperatures and direct solar radiation are frequent. It is also understood a need to understand the popular commerce present in the city of Macapá, since the traders work in unhealthy and insecure places. Based on the premises, it is elaborated a project proposal in order to solve these problems in the city of Macapá, more specifically in Igarapé das mulheres and Beira-rio complex. It was adopted as methodological basis the theoretical background regarding the Amazonian trade and climatic characterization; project background through proposals that seek integration with the environment at which they are inserted, bioclimatic proposals and projects with this market aspect; for space analysis were elaborated maps, questionnaires and interviews with local traders. After analysis of the whole theoretical background, it was possible to punctuate the design segregation, being the urbanism, landscaping and architecture elaborated separately, conditioned the inadequacy of the city to the hot humid climate. A bioclimatic proposal was developed, being it architectonic, landscape and urbanistic, aiming an integration of the three axes as a form of spatial adaptation to the equatorial Amazonian climate. The proposal can meet commercial and infrastructures demands presented in the study focus area, and presents references and design guidelines to achieve thermal comfort in the hot humid Amazonian climate.
