Diagnóstico e propostas de intervenção para as manifestações patológicas através da utilização de árvore de decisão: estudo de caso em uma via de pavimento flexível na cidade de Santana – AP

Abstract

Urban networks are vital to the country's economic growth, representing the main means of mobility, flow and regional connection. It is noted, however, that some of these structures have exhibited significant deterioration over time, compromising not only fluidity, efficiency and safety in travel, but also road quality and durability. In view of such findings, the present work aims to promote an evaluation of the pathological manifestations found on Avenida Rio Branco, located in the municipality of Santana/AP, encompassing, among other factors, the frequency that these adversities occur and technical suggestions for intervention. To this end, on-site inspections, theoretical basis and photographic records are used, combined with a descriptive and exploratory methodological approach, which makes it possible, with the help of the global severity index (IGG), to carry out the correct diagnosis on the pavement. The cataloged data indicates that the area presents a poor state of degradation, due to the diversity of pathologies measured, such as fissures, cracks of different shapes, pans, ripples, exudation, wear and patches. Using the decision tree, it is possible to target some maintenance and rehabilitation services, recommending double surface treatment techniques together with a sealant layer for short and medium term actions and milling with the replacement of the old pavement when talking about long term term. It is also worth highlighting the need for responsible bodies to make more investments in the sector, better urban planning and periodic repairs, as these measures contribute decisively to road infrastructure.
